These terms govern use of the VerifNumber public website and the Insights Lab prototype. They do not replace a separate contract or terms for any other service that may be operated under the VerifNumber brand. The operator should obtain legal review before relying on these terms for a paid or regulated service.
1. Operator and contact
VerifNumber is presented as a product brand associated with PT Makala Edukasi Indonesia, subject to confirmation of current legal and operating details. Contact: information@verifnumber.com.
2. Prototype availability
The Insights Lab is an experimental demonstration. Local results are generated through simple rules in the browser; they are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for operational decisions. The optional Claude explanation is available only if the operator has configured the server-side API connection and the relevant service is available.
3. Acceptable use
You must use the website lawfully. You must not use VerifNumber or any related tool to commit fraud, impersonate another person, access accounts without authorization, bypass platform security controls, violate service provider rules, or engage in unlawful activity. You are responsible for having permission to analyze any data you provide.
4. Data restrictions
Use only synthetic or properly sanitized event records in the Insights Lab. Do not upload or paste actual one-time passwords, phone numbers, authentication secrets, personal identifiers, payment credentials, or other sensitive data. The local demo is not a secure evidence vault or a production data-processing system.
5. No production or uptime guarantee
Product descriptions and interface previews explain current direction and may describe features that are in development. Unless separately agreed in writing, the website does not promise a production monitoring service, live provider connectivity, API availability, a particular verification success rate, or uninterrupted service.
6. AI-generated output
If enabled, AI-generated explanations may be incomplete or incorrect and should be reviewed by a qualified person. They are informational suggestions, not security certification, compliance advice, or an instruction to bypass third-party controls.
7. Intellectual property
Unless indicated otherwise, the website design, brand elements, and original written material belong to or are licensed by the applicable rights holder. Do not reproduce or misuse them without permission.
8. Third-party services
Hosting, email, and Anthropic API services may be subject to third-party terms. VerifNumber does not control their availability or policies. Use of an optional external API is also subject to the applicable provider terms.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent allowed by applicable law, the website and prototype are provided on an “as available” basis. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. Any additional limitation must be interpreted only as far as permitted by applicable law.
10. Changes and governing law
These terms may be updated as the website changes. Mandatory consumer and other protections under applicable Indonesian law remain unaffected. The operator should confirm the appropriate governing-law and dispute-resolution wording with counsel before offering paid services.
